This year we decided to get involved with The Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize, now in its 8th year. It is an esteemed international competition that honors diversity and excellence in representational visual arts. Open to artists worldwide, the prize encompasses various static mediums, including traditional art, digital art, and photography, embracing styles from realism and hyperrealism to pop surrealism. We are a gold sponsor and are offering the winner of the Painting Award a residency here in Charleston. Below is a bit more about the prizes.
2025 Prize Categories and Awards
This year's Art Prize features six distinct award categories, each offering substantial cash prizes and additional benefits:
Grand Prize Award: $10,000 USD cash + prizes
RAYMAR Painting Art Award: $4,500 USD cash + prizes
Victoria Olt Gallery Drawing Award: $4,500 USD cash + Prizes
MPB Photography Award: $4,500 USD cash + prizes
Digital Art Award: $4,500 USD cash + prizes
Yasha Young Projects Sculpture Award: $4,500 USD cash + prizes
Catherine K. Gyllerstrom Emerging Artist Award: $4,500 USD + prizes
People’s Choice Award Winner: $1,000 USD + prizes [public voting opens in August]
The Grand Prize Award Winner will be selected by the Jury Panel from any award category. Public voting for the People’s Choice Award opens on August 22, 2025.

Exhibition at Haven Gallery
Finalists and winners will have the opportunity to exhibit their works at the prestigious Beautiful Bizarre Magazine exhibition at Haven Gallery in Northport, NY, USA, alongside over 70 of the world’s best contemporary representational artists in October 2025. We are big fan's of Haven Gallery.
