“I have always been fascinated by an artist’s ability to engage the viewer. One way is through perspective. In this new body of work I’ve painted moments of serene motion in nature, using perspectives that pull the viewer in and hopefully give them an authentic experience. Through lines, edges, atmosphere, color, and horizons, I’ve attempted to create realistic depth and distance in each painting.”
